Napoli are reportedly unwilling to sell goalkeeper Pepe Reina to Paris Saint-Germain.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are hoping the speculation dies down, although they would consider €5m and Alphonse Areola on loan in exchange.

The former France Under-21 international is PSG’s second-choice goalkeeper, although he impressed during a loan spell at Villarreal two seasons ago.

In the meantime, the newspaper adds Maurizio Sarri and Cristiano Giuntoli will try to persuade the Spaniard into adhering to a ‘Scudetto pact’ he made with his teammates.

Reina had been offered a two-year contract by PSG worth €4m, with the option of a third.
