Where one of Giovinco’s representatives this week expressed a reluctance to further link the player with other clubs, another has been less cautious in his approach.

Claudio Pasqualin took questions today on the Atomic Ant’s future, which is up for debate this summer between his co-owned clubs Juventus and Parma, and was warm to the direct question of Giovinco moving to the San Paolo, should Ezequiel Lavezzi be sold.

“Giovinco to Napoli? Sebastian has been doing very well, and from this perspective would obviously agree to this possibility,” Pasqualin told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.

“Add that the fact that with [Napoli sporting director Riccardo] Bigon last season, there was an exchange of ideas and information exactly for this possibility.

“A trident of Giovinco, Marek Hamsik and Edinson Cavani? Seba’s season has been great, Parma continue to nurture dreams with two rounds remaining. The trio in question would, of course, be fantastic.”
