Today's summit at the Lega Serie A will go a long way towards deciding the future of Gonzalo Higuain, but the Partenopei have a number of alternatives lined up just in case.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the club from Naples are willing to offer €45-50m for Inter's Icardi, whilst raising the player's wages.

However it remains to be seen whether they'll be able to beat the international competition, which includes Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. SportMediaset today reports that West Ham joined the fray as well.

Another report by Marca suggests that Napoli are in fact after former Juventus starlet Morata, who might aptly replace the Argentine. However, the deal is unlikely to happen as Real Madrid are reportedly asking for a staggering €80m.
