Dries Mertens has “only sprained his shoulder and there is no dislocation,” said the Napoli chief medic after a draw with PSG.
The forward fell awkwardly at the Stadio San Paolo during the 1-1 Champions League game and had to be substituted.
“There is no dislocation, the shoulder is stable,” Alfonso De Nicola told reporters in the mixed zone.
“It’s just a sprain, so there is moderate optimism.”
