Napoli defender Vlad Chiriches will miss the rest of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
Napoli announced on Thursday that Chiriches’ operation was ‘a complete success’ and he would ‘be back in time for preseason’.
The Romanian dislocated his shoulder just 13 minutes into the Partenopei’s 2-1 defeat to Atalanta on April 22.
He did not make his first appearance of the season until mid-February due to an ACL injury.
