The report therefore doesn't come from an official journalistic outlet, and for now it must be seen as highly dubious, even though the source is apparently 100 per cent confident that the deal will go through.
Napoli are after a striker to flank Manolo Gabbiadini and Arkadiusz Milik, but there would be a serious diplomatic obstacle in picking up Zaza.
The relationship between Juventus and Napoli is currently icy, after Gonzalo Higuain was pried away by the Turinese club, and it seems unlikely that president Aurelio De Laurentiis would want to sit at the negotiating table with them, nor would the fans take kindly to the move.
