Napoli have a very special guest at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for tonight’s Serie A match against Cremonese, a 10-year-old actor who amusingly embarrassed an Inter host on the stage at the Sanremo festival.

The Partenopei went into this round as the runaway leaders, 13 points clear of second-placed Inter in the Scudetto race.

So when 10-year-old Mario Di Leva was invited onto the stage of the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival by host Amadeus, who is famously a supporter of Inter, he simply couldn’t resist.

“Is it cold being at -13?” the child asked Amadeus.

The young star of RAI mini-series ‘Resta Con Me’ told the Corriere del Mezzogiorno newspaper that the clip was seen by Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The patron not only called Di Leva up on the phone, but also invited him to the next Napoli home game against Cremonese, where he was greeted by a personalised signed jersey by the full squad and a kiss from coach Luciano Spalletti.

“Amadeus tried to make fun of me because Inter beat Napoli, so what was I supposed to do? I had to put him in his place,” explained the 10-year-old.
