Adrien Rabiot got the winning goal against Fiorentina today, but admits he does not know ‘what is going to happen’ when his Juventus contract runs down in June.

He had already been on the verge of a move to Manchester United in the summer and that would seem to be one of the probable destinations if he leaves as a free agent.

“At this moment I feel good, but I don’t know what is going to happen,” Rabiot told DAZN after the 1-0 Serie A victory.

“The important thing is to give 100 per cent, then we’ll see what happens. I’ll talk to the club, but right now there are more important things to think about.”

The France international has been discussing a possible contract extension with Juventus, but so much depends on more than just the €10m per season wage demands.

It is also highly unlikely that Rabiot would want to remain in Turin if the Bianconeri do not qualify for the Champions League.

That seems improbable at the moment, because they were docked 15 Serie A points for artificially inflating transfer fees to boost capital gains.

There is an appeal in progress, but it is also only the start, with more potential investigations and charges on the way.
