Napoli are closing in on a double deal for Verona pair Sofyan Amrabat and Amir Rrahmani and could also bring in their teammate Marash Kumbulla.

Sky Sport Italia reports Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli met Amrabat’s representatives earlier to agree terms with the midfielder.

He would be part of a €35m deal for next season, which also includes defender Rrahmani.

Joining the pair could be Kumbulla, with Tuttomercatoweb writing the Partenopei are about to offer €15m plus bonuses and that he too would arrive this summer.

However, the report suggests Napoli will take the young Albanian over Rrahmani, given both are centre-backs.

The website adds he is also being courted by Manchester United and RB Leipzig.

As for Amrabat, he would not affect the club’s pursuit of Celta Vigo man Stanislav Lobotka as the Moroccan has already played for two teams this season and can therefore not turn out for another.
