Lecce are reportedly close to taking Fiorentina midfielder Riccardo Saponara from Genoa.
Saponara has played just five times for Genoa since arriving on a season-long loan from Fiorentina in August.
Now, Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla writes the 28-year-old is on his way to Lecce, who are “very close” to agreeing a deal.
The former Italy Under-21 international would slot straight into Fabio Liverani’s side, given they use a 3-4-1-2 formation and therefore a No 10 with his characteristics.
