Today it was found that, in a phonecall with Beretta, De Laurentiis had made “offensive and threatening remarks” about the pair.

The FIGC also concluded that he had “blatantly reported the conversation just exchanged" to those present at the meeting "repeating the offensive statements once again”.

Under article 32e of the sporting justice code, it was determined that De Laurentiis had made “seriously offensive remarks”, incurring a fine of €10,000 for both himself and his club.
