He was picked up from Rabotnicki for just €180,000 in 2017 and his value on the transfer market is now in the region of €15-20m.

Elmas was also linked with Milan, Inter, Fiorentina, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid, but Napoli seem to be pushing to the front of the queue.

An alternative is Bologna’s Chile international Pulgar, who has a €15m release clause in his contract.
