Napoli have reportedly had a €40m bid rejected for Roma goalkeeper Alisson.

According to Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla, Napoli offered €35m plus €5m in bonuses for Alisson but saw the proposal knocked back, with Roma demanding at least €50m.

The transfer expert explains there is no release clause in the Brazilian’s contract, but the Giallorossi would like to improve his deal and include a ‘mega’ release clause in order to protect themselves.

The goalkeeper has continually pledged his commitment to the Lupi, while the Partenopei are also said to be targeting Bayer Leverkusen’s Bernd Leno and Genoa’s Mattia Perin.
