According to Tuttomercatoweb, around 55,000 tickets have been sold for the first leg, despite there being no away fans allowed.
The last play-off, against Athletic Club in 2014 drew 49,872 fans, but the Champions League record to beat remains the 56,695 who attended last year’s Last 16 second leg with Real Madrid.
Theoretically the stadium can hold 60,240, but in practice this is reduced due to sight lines and segregation.
