It’s reported Inter have given up on signing Emre Mor from Borussia Dortmund, due to excessive agent fees.

A deal had practically been completed for the attacking midfielder, which would have seen him join on a €2-3m loan, with an obligation to buy next summer.

Emre’s agent, Muzzi Ozcan, flew to Milan to complete the deal, but it soon emerged that negotiations had hit a stumbling block.

While Ozcan denied that commissions were the reason, SportItalia is claiming today that the Nerazzurri have pulled the plug for exactly that reason.

That stands in contrast to Corriere dello Sport’s line on Sunday, with the newspaper stating that the Beneamata have simply decided they don’t want him.
