Napoli named their squad for tomorrow’s trip to Atalanta, missing Victor Osimhen, but including their youth team top scorer.

The Partenopei travel to Bergamo on Sunday at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT).

Osimhen and defender Amir Rrahmani are both suspended and therefore won’t be involved at the Gewiss Stadium.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Adam Ounas, Andrea Petagna and Alex Meret are all out injured.

Fabian Ruiz has shaken off flu symptoms and is expected to start tomorrow.

To replace Di Lorenzo, coach Luciano Spalletti is widely expected to give 21-year-old Alessandro Zanoli his first start in the Napoli jersey.

There is another player promoted from the Primavera youth team, namely Giuseppe Ambrosino.

The 18-year-old centre-forward has scored 14 goals in 23 Primavera Serie A games this season, was born near Naples and spent his entire career in their youth academy.

Ambrosino has four caps for Italy at Under-19 level, but is yet to find the net.

This would be his senior Napoli debut.

  1. If Napoli survive the next 5 matches they will win the league but having to rely on youth players on keys matches like Atalanta is never a good sign. While Inter have Juve followed by last 5 winnable matches. For Milan their last 5 matches are teams in which no one would want to face them making their next two matches critical in which even a draw would be. Basically Inter will win the league not because they’ll be winning their matches but others will drop points when it matters most.
