Napoli are back in talks for Sevilla striker Ciro Immobile after Ajax tried to cling on to Arkadiusz Milik, claims Marca.

The Partenopei are still in the hunt for a new forward and ran into problems for first choice Milik, as Ajax do not want to let the Poland international go.

According to Spanish paper Marca, Napoli have asked Sevilla for Immobile.

He spent the last six months of the season on loan at Torino, who were not prepared to buy him outright.

He spent the last six months of the season on loan at Torino, who were not prepared to buy him outright.

Napoli would be an excellent fit for him, as Immobile is from Naples and is great friends with Lorenzo Insigne after their time together at Pescara and again at Euro 2016.

Immobile is still only 26 years old, but has been through a succession of clubs including Juventus, Genoa, Torino, Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla.

He would be available on loan with an option to buy for around €11m.
