Duvan Zapata’s entourage confirmed “Estudiantes are in Rome for talks with Napoli and Sassuolo.”
The Colombian striker abandoned a transfer to QPR last week due to issues over his work permit, but seems set for Serie A instead.
“At this moment it all rests in the hands of the Estudiantes President,” intermediary Marcelo Ferreyra told TMW.
“He is currently in Rome for talks with Napoli and we hope to find a breakthrough soon. Sassuolo are also in the running, so we’ll have to see what happens from these meetings.”
