Former Cagliari owner Massimo Cellino believes Radja Nainggolan is destined to return to Roma. “It’s his dream.”

Cellino brought Nainggolan to Cagliari in January 2010 from Piacenza and the midfielder has since gone back to Sardinia on a season-long loan.

However, the arrangement will expire once the campaign concludes and the Brescia President expects the 32-year-old to embark on a second spell at Roma.

“It’s hard not to love him,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“It’s hard not to love him,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“The last time we met, he hugged me tightly. In my opinion, he’ll go back to Roma.

“It’s his dream, he was struck by the city and the club’s surroundings. Radja’s capable of giving you everything.”

Nainggolan scored 33 goals in 203 games for the Giallorossi before completing a permanent move to Inter in the summer of 2018.
