“We are playing to win, because we have the team to do it, we can do it and the result is not secure yet, so we need to take this game by the scruff of the neck,” Nainggolan told Mediaset Premium.

A 0-0 draw would be enough for the Giallorossi to qualify on away goals.

“It all depends on us. We players know where we are and what the fans await of us. Now it’s up to us to prove we are up to the standard of the Champions League.

“We miss the fans in the stadium, as we’ve been without them for almost a year. Hopefully a solution can be found so they too can return to cheer us on.”
