Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan admits “I risk missing the World Cup” after a spat with Belgium Coach Roberto Martinez.

The Giallorossi man was left out of the last squad, and with the Red Devils already qualified for Russia, he knows he may not be there.

“He told me I wasn’t called-up because of a drop in concentration,” Nainggolan explained to vtm.be.

“I honestly don’t know what he wanted to tell me but he didn’t speak to me personally. Then he added as a reason that I’d been one minute late for a team meeting.

“Risking missing the World Cup for that is absurd. I’d like to see if the same thing would happen to [Eden] Hazard…

“I respect his decision, but I’m not going to make the first move to talk again, he has to do it.

“I don’t think I’ve done anything wrong. I want to be important for the national team and I think I can do that, but I’m afraid I’ll lose out on the World Cup again.”
