The Romanian caused controversy when he stormed out of Wednesday's training session, apparently after being told he would not be released free of charge to join Cesena.
“We announce there will be a Press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Florence on Friday January 7 at 13.00,” read a statement.

The Viola have announced their plans to sue Mutu in both Federal and Civil courts for his “insubordination.”
