Fernando Muslera's agent will soon hold more talks with Lazio in a bid to extend the contract of his client.

The Uruguayan goalkeeper has been hoping to net a new deal for some time given that his present agreement expires in June 2012.

"I'll be coming back to Rome in two weeks and then we'll see what happens," former Napoli and Juventus striker Daniel Fonseca noted.

After taking his time to settle in Serie A, the 2010 Uruguayan World Cup 'keeper has been the club's recognised No 1 for the last two seasons.

Muslera, who reportedly earns around €1.3m a season, is understood to be wanting an improved financial package.
