The Nerazzurri are in crisis, falling from the top of Serie A to fifth-place in the space of just seven games.

The squad has been placed into a training camp and the club isn’t speaking to the media, but Murillo spoke to a radio show in his native Colombia.

“I have to say, before Christmas we were having a great campaign,” Murillo reminded Caracol Radio.

“Then after the winter break the team hasn’t done well and I haven’t done well personally, but we’re working every day.

“I feel good physically, maybe I haven’t played at my best but I want to get some games soon to return to the top.

“Are Juventus and Napoli unstoppable? In Italy every team is strong and looks to win. Juve have had a furious comeback, it seems it’ll be difficult to stop them but we’re working to achieve our goal.”
