The Colombian had been due to sign two weeks ago, but the move had to be renegotiated after he failed a medical due to a thigh injury.
“Thank you to everyone who made this dream possible,” wrote Muriel on Instagram with a photo of himself in the Sampdoria jersey.
“Thanks to President Ferrero and my agent who fought hard when everything seemed to be finished and got this deal to a positive ending.
