Taechaubol has reportedly been told that a deal must be completed by midnight, and now Sky is reporting that he will return to Thailand tonight or tomorrow morning if a response is not forthcoming from Berlusconi.
The latest speculation is that joint-CEO Adriano Galliani prefers the bid from a Chinese consortium led by Richard Lee, while his colleague Barbara Berlusconi is against a sale.
