Baroni was arrested as part of an investigation into an advisory body Tax&Finance, with this morning’s newspapers suggesting he was an advisor to the Thai entrepreneur.
“In relation to the arbitrary rumours in the Press in recent days, which are without foundation, I want to make it clear I’ve never met Andrea Baroni,” Taechaubol, commonly known as Mr Bee said in a statement.
“Obviously then, Mr Baroni has no role in the current negotiations to acquire 48 per cent of Milan, negotiations are continuing as agreed by both parties.
“I reiterate the absolute correctness of my behaviour, and I will be evaluating the appropriate legal action.”
