José Mourinho reportedly warned Roma players not to hurt their teammates during a training session on Thursday which he described as ‘fake’ because it was open to the media.

The Giallorossi are preparing for Saturday’s Serie A match against Fiorentina and the following Europa League Final with Sevilla in Budapest, on May 31.

Mourinho and a few Roma players, including Tammy Abraham, spoke to reporters during the media day organised at Trigoria by UEFA on Thursday. According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Mou warned his players before a training session which was also open to reporters.

‘Now we’ll play a game with small goals for six minutes,’ said Mou.

‘Quality is ok, intensity is ok, but beware of feet and ankles, do not do silly things.’

Players followed the instruction and no player got hurt during the training session, which Mourinho described as ‘fake’ because it was in front of the media.

According to the report, Zaki Celik played two games from two and is set to start as a right wing-back in the Final against Sevilla. Diego Llorente seems to be the favourite over Roger Ibanez in defence, while Lorenzo Pellegrini should play behind Tammy Abraham, with Gini Wijnaldum or Edoardo Bove starting in central midfield.
