José Mourinho says he was forced do to without Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini against Hellas Verona and doesn’t expect anything special from Rick Karsdorp and Ola Solbakken.

The Special One spoke to DAZN minutes before Sunday’s home clash against Hellas Verona, which you can follow live here.

Verona have changed, doing well in the January transfer window. Not many things, but smart,” said Mourinho.

“Some players have changed the team, they have a different quality and you can tell in the results and the way they play.”

Dybala suffered an injury on Thursday and is not available tonight while Pellegrini is not fully fit and starts on the bench.

“There is no precaution. One is injured and the other almost. There are no choices, I was forced to do it,” explained Mourinho.

January signing Solbakken starts his first game for Roma, while Karsdorp plays his first Serie A game since November when Mourinho accused him of betraying the team after the game with Sassuolo. What does Mourinho expect from them?

“Nothing special. I expect the same team as usual, a team that has desire and respect for the club and fans. Desire to do well and win games, that’s what I always expect from all.”
