“There is absolutely no truth in it,” Alessandro Canovi told Napoli Calcio Live. “I know the reality of Napoli, but there has not even been a conversation about it.
“We also have to consider that a player like Thiago would not fit into the plans of certain clubs who have particular salary parameters.
“Thiago Motta is happy in Paris and, although he still hasn’t signed a new contract, the rumours which are circulating are without foundation.”
The 31-year-old Italian international joined the French capital outfit in January 2012 from Inter for a fee believed to be in the region of €10m.
