Takayuki Morimoto is on the verge of completing his move from Catania to newly promoted Novara.

"We'll do a deal with Catania at some point today or tomorrow at the latest," Novara sporting director Mauro Pederzoli told Itasportpress.it.

"We believe that the player can do well with us after showing his class with the Catania jersey."

Morimoto, 23, made his Serie A debut for Catania in January 2007, but he has struggled for goals in Serie A.

In 81 League games for the Stadio Massimino outfit, he only managed to score 15 goals. That's an average of one goal every five games.
