Roma defender Hector Moreno reveals he “accepted immediately” when sporting director Monchi called him.
The centre-back joined from PSV this summer, and has played 90 minutes in the Giallorossi’s last two games.
“I’m happy, everything was perfect for me to fit in,” Moreno told Sky.
“The Coach [Eusebio Di Francesco] and my teammates have been very good and very patient in helping me settle in.

“We’ve got the best defensive record in the league, a result which is very much down to the work we do in training.
“I was happy in the Netherlands, but after five years I wanted another challenge. After the last game of the season I was told that Monchi wanted to take me to Roma and I accepted immediately, without hesitation.
“When a director like Monchi calls you, you don’t think about it, you just go.”
Rick Karsdorp was another summer signing from the Dutch league, but he ruptured his cruciate ligament in his debut last night.
“I wish him good luck with his injury, he’s a tough lad and I’m convinced he’ll come back even stronger.”
