The agent of Martin Caceres will meet with Sevilla officials on Monday to discuss a possible move to Juventus.

According to reports, representative Daniel Fonseca will be accompanied to Spain by fellow agent Beppe Bozzo in an effort to finally do a deal.

The Old Lady want the Uruguayan international this month in a bid to reinforce their defensive options.

Sevilla and Juve have been in talks for weeks about the South American, but no compromise has been reached.

Juve want to take the player on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. There is a difference in opinion with regard to what that buy-out fee should be set at.

If a deal for Caceres falls through, then Juve could then make a move for Porto and Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin as the Bianconeri have just one non-EU spot available in the squad.

Caceres spent the 2009-10 campaign at Juventus on loan from Barcelona, but the Italian club opted to send him back to the Nou Camp. He then moved to Sevilla.

Caceres can play in the middle or as a full-back when required.
