A gang of around 40 masked hooligans attacked the Drunken Ship pub on the night of November 22 ahead of the Europa League game between Lazio and Tottenham.

Some figures had already been arrested straight after the attack and several were identified as Roma ultras.

Today the police in Rome arrested another three people: 24-year-old Fulvio Marra, 36-year-old Tony Vratuli and 33-year-old Romanian Nicolae Rotariu.

It is widely reported that two of them are Lazio ultras, while another six Biancocelesti supporters are also under investigation.

They are to be charged with GBH and criminal damage, while police explained they had organised the attack in two groups approaching the pub from different directions.

It is believed Tottenham fans were also targeted because Lazio ultras are twinned with those of their London rivals West Ham United.
