The action continued with Morata who assisted Ronaldo. The Portuguese was blocked off by Berat Djimsiti with the ball thatcame back to Morata who attempted a back-heel flick wide of an empty net.

Pirlo didn’t take it well and kicked some bottles of water that were close to him, but Morata was probably off-side. The Italian tactician admitted after the game the striker made him angry.

If he had scored, VAR would have disallowed the goal.
