Mario Mandzukic’s goal was cancelled out by Nikola Kalinic when Morata tapped in from a deflected corner for the 2-1 lead.
Kalinic had a penalty in the final minute, but Buffon saved both the kick and Federico Bernardeschi’s follow-up.

“It was important to win in an arena where they really don’t like us very much,” smiled Morata to Mediaset Premium.
“We won thanks to a player who is not human. He’s superhuman to save that penalty. We hope to win the Scudetto at the next round.
“Fiorentina are a great team, but we are strong and when we play to the end we’re hard to beat.”
The Bianconeri could win the Scudetto tomorrow afternoon if Napoli fail to beat Roma at the Stadio Olimpico.
