Riccardo Montolivo says he is now in his 'ideal role' and plays down rumours of a Juventus transfer: 'I want to stay at Milan'.
The Rossoneri are slowly climbing back in the standings but could see their efforts spoiled should they lose to Juventus, tomorrow at 19:45 UK time.
“The turnaround for me was playing the derby as a starter,” he told Il Giornale, discussing Milan's improved string of results. “Milan played a good game and so did I. It had been a long time since I'd played.

“Myself or [Nigel] De Jong? Right now he's worst off, but fielding me doesn't rule out using him too.
“I'm now playing in my ideal role, which is the same I was used in under [former Coach Max] Allegri.
“As a captain, I try to set the example. Words are fine, but nothing is stronger than setting the example.”
Finally, Montolivo discussed the rumours about a possible move to Juventus and those of a contract renewal.
“There's been nothing with Juventus. And the renewal is not my priority right now. In any case I want to continue as a Rossonero.”
