The Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that Milan Coach Filippo Inzaghi is keen to reintroduce Montolivo to the first team – albeit slowly – and the former Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”12″>Fiorentina man could play some part in Sunday’s game.

While Montolivo is unlikely to start the fixture, he could feature from the bench with the aim of slowly building his fitness until he can reclaim a place in the Milan starting lineup.

The Gazzetta states that Inzaghi has identified Montolivo as a crucial part of the team, with the midfielder able to play the holding role alongside Nigel de Jong in a 4-2-3-1 system, or as a central midfielder in a 4-3-3.
