Milan Coach Vincenzo Montella assures they don’t have to hurry to sign a new striker.

The Rossoneri were interested in both Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti, but the Spaniard moved to Chelsea and Belotti will remain at Toro.

Other targets include Nikola Kalinic and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, but so far no deal has been agreed.

“We’ve stopped for a moment after working so hard [on the transfer market],” Montella explained in his Press conference ahead of the CSU Craiova game.

“We don’t have all this hurry, we’re attentive. There’s no deadline.”

Two of the summer’s signings, André Silva and Hakan Calhanoglu have been introduced slowly, but Montella assured there are no issues.

“André Silva? The lad is doing well, we know he needs to grow because he’s just arrived. Yesterday he had a small problem with his finger, I’ll evaluate whether to play him.

“It’s normal for there to be competition at a big club, a great player has to deal with these situations. There’s no rush, and he has to adapt.

“As for Calhanoglu, he’s better, he hasn’t played for some time, Suso hasn’t played much either. There are a lot of players who have to improved physically, including Hakan, but he’s a great talent.

“Suso has been with the squad for a while, but he had an injury and not an easy one. He needs to play, he’s training well and he’ll push me to make the best choice.

“Tomorrow I’ll choose those who will guarantee me the most minutes on the pitch.

“Patrick Cutrone? He’s growing exponentially, he’s much better than last year.

“Will he stay? I like coaching him, we’ll evaluate with the club.”
