Vincenzo Montella wants his Fiorentina side to bounce back from their defeat to Napoli, as they prepare to face Milan tomorrow.

The Viola go to San Siro on Saturday looking to avenge their loss to the Partenopei in midweek.

The Coach though, knows his men have areas to improve upon if they are to defeat the Rossoneri.

“Nobody said that getting into the Champions League should be our goal,” he told a Press conference.

“We just want to always give our best and try to entertain people – for me that is the most important thing.

“But everyone recognises that we have to improve at the back, and that starts from the front.

“We have to react after a defeat, but football is like that. Sometimes the game is unfair, but you have to get on with it.”

The tactician then commented on Massimo Ambrosini’s bid to be fit for the game, as well as Juan Cuadrado’s unsuccessful appeal against his red card.

“Ambrosini still has not been able to train with the rest of the squad. We’ll try and get him fit, but it’s going to be hard.

“I remain perplexed by Cuadrado’s red card.”
