Milan's dearth of results in spite of a substantial winter transfer campaign is prompting speculation that Coach Filippo Inzaghi may leave at the end of the season, in spite of insistence from Adriano Galliani to the contrary.

Conte has been suggested as one possible replacement, but his recent statements that he is going to see his Italy contract to its end have discouraged Milan.

Tuttosport are confirming reports that Montella is now the number one target to lead the Rossoneri in June.

However, Fiorentina are unlikely to let go of the Coach very easily, with President Andrea Della Valle stating that l'Aeroplanino would not be moving.

“He is our future, we have many objectives to reach together,” he stated yesterday to Radio Blu.

Napoli are also again listed as monitoring Montella for a move, should Rafa Benitez exit at the end of the season.
