They face an altogether more momentous task tonight though, taking on Lionel Messi’s Barça in the Camp Nou.
“It’s important to be balanced,” Monchi told Premium Sport ahead of kick-off.

“We have to be Roma, the one which proved we deserve to be here. I think Barcelona are favourites because they have more history, but we want to play for our chance.
“They win eight games out of 10, but maybe those two they get wrong can be against us.
“We have to build, we want to keep on growing. If we don’t qualify we don’t need to look for excuses, we’re here to play our cards.
“Barcelona are very strong, but we’re here because of what we did in a difficult group and we deserve to be here.”
