Sporting director Monchi says signing Gregoire Defrel was “a priority” for Roma, after he joined on loan with obligation to buy.
The forward completed his move from Sassuolo this afternoon, in a deal which could be worth a total €23m.
“I’m really happy to finally have Gregoire in our squad,” Monchi told Roma’s official website.
“He was a priority for us because he is exactly the type of forward we were looking for.
