Luka Modric has reportedly decided to extend his contract with Real Madrid, despite interest from Inter and Juventus.

The Ballon d’Or winner was said to be close to Inter over the summer, with the Merengues even protesting to FIFA about the approach.

Juve were then linked with a possible swoop at the end of this season.

However, according to Spanish newspaper AS, Modric is leaning towards a new Real Madrid contract with an improved salary.

His current deal runs to June 2020 and the extension would be to 2022.
