Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s agent Rafaela Pimenta won’t discuss the Nerazzurri midfielder’s contract extension but says: ‘The older he gets, the better he becomes.’
Mkhitaryan’s contract at the Stadio Meazza expires in June 2024, but the midfielder’s agent refused to speak about a potential new deal during an interview with Sportitalia.
“I won’t talk about a contract extension, he’s doing what he must. As I already said in the past. It seems that the older he gets, the better he becomes,” she said.
“His performances have been crazy,” Pimenta added, smiling.
“He improves continuously despite being 34. Henrikh proves that lifestyle and professionalism count and make his career last longer.
“You should ask him about the future. It seems he’s happy at Inter, what do you think? That’s what his performances say. One plays better when he’s happy. When you are connected with your heart and soul, you play well. The lad feels perfectly in Milan and you can see it.”
