However, Miranda took a knock to his knee on 16 minutes, and after trying to continue following treatment, was substituted for Marquinhos seven minutes later.
The former Atletico Madrid man is now a doubt for Sunday’s Milan derby, though he assured reporters after the match the injury was not too serious.

“Unfortunately I took a knock to the knee and I had to go off,” Miranda explained.
“I’m told it’s a problem with the medial collateral ligament. Now I’ll carry out tests at Inter to understand the extent of the injury.
“I don’t think it’s anything serious, but I still don’t know for sure. Now I’ll work with my club and I’ll certainly do everything to be ready for the next commitments with the national team.”
