Massimilliano Mirabelli admits Torino striker could yet “wear the shirt that he dreamt of wearing as a child”, referring to Milan.
Milan were heavily linked with Belotti throughout last summer, but Torino did not budge on their €100m valuation of the Italy international as the Rossoneri went on to sign Andre Silva and Nikola Kalinic.
“Belotti? It’s common knowledge that we tried to bring him to Milan, but it was quite difficult for several reasons,” the sporting director said at a children’s awards ceremony.
