All sporting events must be behind closed doors until at least April 3, but there is the fear fans will try to gather in local bars and restaurants to watch them.
The Government has already urged Sky Sport Italia and DAZN to show the games free to air, particularly the more high-profile fixtures like Juventus–Inter.

This was rejected by the Lega Serie A, but it seems the situation is in flux.
“There is still a possibility Serie A games will be shown free to air,” said Minister for Sport Spadafora this evening.
“I had various telephone calls with those at the top of the football world, the television channels and the media watchdog, as I continue to feel at this moment it is important to offer citizens some sort of distraction when in their own homes.
“There is a possible solution, we are waiting for the Lega Serie A to give its evaluations.”
