James Milner admits Manchester City “didn’t play at our best” in a 1-1 Champions League draw with Roma.

“We didn’t play at our best but we had a fair few chances and could have nicked it. We never played at our tempo which teams find hard to deal with.

“They are well organised and we didn’t do enough.”

Manchester City have just one point from two games, while Bayern Munich top the group on six and Roma follow with four.

Earlier this evening Bayern Munich earned a 1-0 victory away to CSKA Moscow thanks to a penalty.
