Krzysztof Piatek gained plaudits, but statistically the most effective Serie A striker this season is his fellow Poland international Arkadiusz Milik.

Piatek earned a €35m plus bonuses move from Genoa to Milan, with many calling it a bargain considering his 18 Serie A goals in 24 appearances.

This gives him an impressive average of a goal every 106 minutes in the league.

However, not only is Piatek not the most clinical striker in Serie A this season, he isn’t even the best Polish player.

However, not only is Piatek not the most clinical striker in Serie A this season, he isn’t even the best Polish player.

That is because Napoli hitman Milik has 14 goals in 22 games with not all of them complete matches, so he has an average of a goal every 103 minutes.

Current Capocannoniere Cristiano Ronaldo lags behind with 19 goals in 25 Serie A games, an average of one every 113 minutes played.
